Richard and Ed have been childhood best friends and have always dreamed of starting a business together. With a few years of marketing and finance work under their belts, they decided to embark on their dream making a product they loved. As self-confessed chocoholics, what better product to begin with? They believe that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice taste in order to create naturally good food. Both founders have been foodies for a long time and wanted to use superfoods to make indulgent foods better.
All Doisy & Dam bars are single-origin, gluten free and lovingly made in the UK — their dark chocolate range is vegan friendly too. High quality superfoods are sourced from all over the world and combined with antioxidant-rich Dominican cacao. Doisy & Dam bars have a minimum of 8% superfoods and have a higher cocoa content than most mainstream bars meaning there is a lot less room for sugar and fat. They ensure each bar has a unique taste and irresistible texture, the end result is something ‘superdelicious’. It’s healthy indulgence at its best!
Doisy & Dam is made up of a close-knit team of five working behind the scenes in a converted warehouse in Brockley, South East London. Team culture is key to the business — each team member is passionate about the brand and the mission beyond the bar. As a B Corp, Doisy & Dam is committed to using their business as a force for good; they view the value of positive social impact as equal to their company profit.
