Waste generation is one of the most prominent environmental impacts that festivals have, and after attending many festivals themselves and seeing the carnage left behind, this led Amy and her husband Tim to want to bring change to this scene and Full Circle hygiene kits for camping were born.
No matter how much fun you're having at a festival — you still want to stay clean and feel fresh, and Amy and Tim learnt that the average festival goer would generally buy between 5–10 throwaway toiletry items to take with them to an overnight festival. It made them question how much waste this created and what they could do to help reduce it. As well as this single use toiletries waste, they also discovered the environmental impact that water waste had too and decided to come up with a body wash that could be used without showers, lessening the need for unnecessary water consumption at festival sites.
This re-usable and waterless eco-friendly hygiene pack contains products that are sustainably sourced, from natural ingredients, non-animal tested and vegan friendly to help reduce the amount of single-use plastic and water consumption at camping festivals. The products are either reusable, biodegradable or recyclable which is so much better for the environment than the traditional alternatives being purchased.
Amy and Tim are hugely passionate about giving back, so every pack purchased has a purpose with money being donated to their two chosen charity partners; charity: water which is a non-profit organisation bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries, with their mission for 2019 to fund four entire community water projects, and The RAW Foundation which helps to educate, engage and empower young people to move towards sustainable consumption and production.
